At a party at Jim and Linda’s house, Linda’s ex boyfriend, Brandon, who was once Jim’s best friend, brings a Ouija Board which they use to contact the spirit of a child named David. Linda is so intrigued by this, she begins using the board herself, and becomes enthralled by an evil spirit. Jim and Brandon must overcome their adversity to save Linda.

Barbara and her brother Johnnie go to visit their mother’s grave when they are attacked by a strange man. Johnnie is killed in the struggle and Barbara, panicked and without the key to the car, runs away. She finds shelter in a remote farmhouse, finding others who were also attacked. A team of specialists is put together to investigate a series of mysterious deaths. This follows psychologist/anthropologist, Dr. Luiza Moreira, who is integral to this investigation, has been reviewing files and videos and realizes that there is something more going on, but her supervisors won’t listen. After a detective, investigating the death of a student filmmaker, sends her a book, apparently written by a homeless man, she begins to suspect what is responsible for the deaths far more sinister than anyone knows.

Josh and Steve are professional snowboarders who are trying to secure a sponsorship at a remote ski resort. Steve decides to pull a stunt by skiing to the finish line naked, not knowing that they were fulfilling a little girl’s wish to meet him and causing them both to lose the sponsorship. Meanwhile, the resort owner, Franz, has been experimenting with making artificial snow and is in the process of giving a demonstration to his potential Russian investor. When the investor gets the noxious artificial snow fluid sprayed in his face, causing him to become increasingly ill.
