Honestly I misread the title on the cover art as “Sausage Vows”, but decided to check it out anyway. Mark lost his wife in a car accident, so, after the funeral, his friends (and Mark Polonia) decide to stay with him for the weekend as support. Turns out, they may not be such good friends.
Tom Riley (Nigel Bach, who also wrote and directed the movie) purchases a house from a sheriff’s auction and as he begins to go through the belongings left behind to flip the house, he discovers why it was up for auction.
This sequel was released 8 years after the first Wyrmwood. Where the first was a horror comedy that introduced its audience to some memorable characters and a creative new twist on the zombie genre, this one dropped most, if not all, of the comedy. It, instead, focused on how the survivors and the zombies had adapted and evolved post apocalypse.
Gino (Pete Punito) is a geneticist working on a secret government project. He and his fiancée are trying to get pregnant, when they discover he is unable. When she breaks things off, Gino decides to use his expertise to create his own son using genetic material from Lucy, the Komodo Dragon who is the subject of the secret government project, mixed with his own genetic material.
A team of specialists is put together to investigate a series of mysterious deaths. This follows psychologist/anthropologist, Dr. Luiza Moreira, who is integral to this investigation, has been reviewing files and videos and realizes that there is something more going on, but her supervisors won’t listen. After a detective, investigating the death of a student filmmaker, sends her a book, apparently written by a homeless man, she begins to suspect what is responsible for the deaths far more sinister than anyone knows.
Josh and Steve are professional snowboarders who are trying to secure a sponsorship at a remote ski resort. Steve decides to pull a stunt by skiing to the finish line naked, not knowing that they were fulfilling a little girl’s wish to meet him and causing them both to lose the sponsorship. Meanwhile, the resort owner, Franz, has been experimenting with making artificial snow and is in the process of giving a demonstration to his potential Russian investor. When the investor gets the noxious artificial snow fluid sprayed in his face, causing him to become increasingly ill.
Colton West is back to save the world from the Lavalantulas… again. Well, Florida at least. West’s step-daughter, a geology student, is on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale when the lavalantula erupt in Florida. He dashes off the set of “Clown Cops” to rescue her.
