A racoon consumes a bunch of synthetic orange crack and goes on a killing rampage in a mountain community.
I got Screambox specifically to watch this today.
The filmmakers used mostly a puppet and a splash of CGI for the racoon. They should have stuck with just the puppet, it was awesome. The scampering and obviously CGI add ins, not so much.
It’s got all the standard fare one would expect in a low budget indie flick. Cheesy dialog full of even cheesier one liners. Gratuitous nudity and (intentionally) badly done sex scenes. And WTF with all the shower scenes! Lots of blood and gore. And I actually liked the final girls, Fin and Frankie, which was a pleasant change from similar offerings.
I definitely liked this one more than some of the other movies of this gimmick.
