Nightmare Shark. Should be called Nightmare on Shark Street. When I first started watching it, I didn’t realize it was a SyFy Original movie. My mouth was hanging open and I was holding my brains in my head so they wouldn’t jump out through the whole opening, pre credit scene.
Once I got over my, justifiable, incredulousness, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the film. The shark attack survivors, who are the main characters of Nightmare Shark, are the survivors of other SyFy shark movies. Jolene (Lulu Jovovich) from Trailer Park Shark (2017) and Gina (Rachel Brooke Smith) and Kaplan (Bobby Campo) from Atomic Shark aka Saltwater (2016). What a great way to connect the crazy SyFy shark universe!
If I haven’t made it evident, you’ll probably enjoy this if you’re a fan of the SyFy shark movie franchise. If you’re not, you can safely skip it. Or maybe give them another chance because they’re silly fun!
