After Marty’s girlfriend breaks up with him, a group of attractive and mysterious women visit the video rental store at which he works.  Soon, Marty and his friends discover that these women are vampires, and it’s up to Marty to stop them.

As I was flipping through movies on Amazon, I saw this.  Me being me, I didn’t stop to look at any sort of description, I just hit the play button.   The opening scene, featuring none other than Mr. Andrew N. Shearer, as Father Jenkins, was all the indication that I needed to know that this was exactly the movie I wanted to watch.  One of director/co-writer, Henrique Couto’s early micro-budget movies, the cast was clearly having tons of fun.  Although there wasn’t a ton of violence or gore, there was plenty of blood whenever the vampire bitches showed up.  The film is well paced with great dialogue, and cheesy, but effective, action sequences.  The two main characters fairly well developed, though the rest are pretty one-dimensional, so at least the audience can connect with Marty, the title character, our hero, played by co-writer,  Shawn A Green,  and Tyler, Marty’s best friend, played by Couto.

I would not hesitate to recommend this to fans of over the top micro budget film.
