In a dystopian future, Jack Deadman is part of a military team sent to find a stolen water supply in order to save humanity, in underground passages, called Labyrinthia.  The mission fails when the inhabitants of Labyrinthia attack the team.  10 years later, Jack, now known only in legend, as The Jackal, haunted by his failure, and hiding in the tunnels,  has never found a way out, discovers that one of his team, Alba, is still alive and imprisoned.   With renewed purpose, he rallies to fight the Emperor Ramses, and free Alba. This crazy Danish short is an homage to the classic spaghetti westerns with a horror twist. About a boy, Virgil, who lives in a saloon with his jerk of a father and a bartender, who is constantly bullied by his father and a pair of tough guy cowboys. Nearby, the natives, tired of being terrorized by “The Dark Butcher,” and perform a ritual which raises the dead to exact vengeance on the Butcher. Jack Quade owns a crocodile farm in Krabi, Thailand, which he runs with the help of his sister and nephew.  He has a rivalry with a local businessman, Cao, and his brother, Andy, who are trying to develop the properties around Jack’s park and using several shady means to try to put Jack out of business.  When a giant croc kills a couple at a local beach, they try to frame Jack’s animals.  Jack teams up with a pretty representative from the animal protection agency and a crocodile hunter to stop the killer croc.   Continue reading “Croc (2007) – Made for TV”

An Australian outback watering and fishing pond is found to have toxic water.  Todd, from the Department of Environment and Pollution, goes out to test the water and replace the warning sign, which keeps disappearing.  On his way back, he has to stop for some kangaroos in the road.  While waiting for them to pass, he discovers something far worse.
