Josh and Steve are professional snowboarders who are trying to secure a sponsorship at a remote ski resort. Steve decides to pull a stunt by skiing to the finish line naked, not knowing that they were fulfilling a little girl’s wish to meet him and causing them both to lose the sponsorship. Meanwhile, the resort owner, Franz, has been experimenting with making artificial snow and is in the process of giving a demonstration to his potential Russian investor. When the investor gets the noxious artificial snow fluid sprayed in his face, causing him to become increasingly ill.

Red Plum Island, clear skies, clear waters, camping, romantic vacation getaway. Actually, they need 4 to get the discount, so Jenner, his girlfriend, Amber, her sister, Sophie, and their co-worker, Bridgette, head out for a weekend of fun. An old base just off the island, supposedly shut down in the ’70’s used to experiment on sharks, but don’t worry, resort owner, Les, has lived there his entire life and has never seen a shark. But a dead shark, with a big chunk bitten out of it, found on shore turns out to not be entirely dead when it eats Jenner.

A couple driving at night accidentally hits someone, as the hospital psychiatrist and police try to figure out who she is, she tells them what happened over the previous 36 hours: A group of twenty-somethings answer a newspaper personals ad to sign up to live in a house full of cameras for 3 months as a social experiment. Things start out fine, as they get to know each other, but quickly spiral into terror as people start getting murdered and they find themselves locked in the house.
