An indie horror comedy about a pizza delivery girl, Jackie, and her friends, Sam and Kevin, who discover that Jackie’s crush has moved into a sorority house of vampires. They join Warren Van Helsing to try to stop them before the vampires can sacrifice a virgin and summon something much worse.
There was one nicely done gory kill scene, the rest were mostly off scene. I’m guessing for budgetary reasons. Or maybe they didn’t want more gore. There were a few other well executed digital effects as well.
This is more comedy than horror, which I don’t mind. The primary cast is fun and has some believable chemistry. Nobuaki Shimamoto as Warren Van Helsing totally steals all the scenes. I’ll be watching this again just for him.
