Bastian is a troubled boy who has lost his mother, is struggling to connect with his father, and is being bullied at school.  One morning, while running away from some bullies, he hides in a book store and discovers a book called “The NeverEnding Story”, which the proprietor insists isn’t safe.  Bastian takes the book anyway and goes to school, where he hides in the attic to avoid a math test.  There, he reads the book and is drawn into the land of Fantasia where he discovers that sometimes an ordinary boy is the hero that is needed. Set 3 years following the events of the original movie, we find the Brody family has grown and some concessions have been made in Amity due to the previous shark attacks.  However, when divers mysteriously disappear, the town council is unwilling to accept that there might be another shark hunting their shores.  A group of local teenagers, including the Brody boys and the mayor’s son, set out for a day of sailing when they cross paths with the shark and it’s up to Chief Brody to save the day. Frank Bannister was an architect who lost his wife in a car accident.   Now, he can see and communicate with ghosts.  He uses that ability, along with some ghost friends, to cause fake hauntings so he can get paid to exorcise homes.  After he notices creepy numbers carved onto the forehead of the man whose home Frank is exorcising, then that man suddenly dies, Frank has a run in with a demon resembling the grim reaper and it’s up to him to save the living and the dead from it.
