Victoria brings her fiancee, Nathan, home to meet the family. When Nathan finds a dying man on their property, Victoria must tell him their extraordinary secret.
This made-for-TV movie is a reinvention of the classic Little Red Riding Hood. The story is an interesting spin and though the dialogue isn’t that great, I enjoyed the characters. The cast had good chemistry, I particularly enjoyed Stephen McHattie as the big bad wolf. Felicia Day and Kavan Smith deliver solid performances . Though typecasting has made it difficult for me to see Felicia Day as the tough-as-nails werewolf hunter, rather than brainiac geek girl. Very cheesy CGI, especially the werewolf/hunter fight scenes. The transformation scenes aren’t too bad. For a made-for-TV flick, there is some decent gore.
I gave this 3 mixed drinks, 2 for the movie itself, which was okay, one for Stephen McHattie, who was awesome.
