Six college boys decide to visit a recently opened brothel. Just as things start to get heated, the boys realize they’re going to have a night to die for.
This low-budget, indie flick doesn’t know if it wants to be a slasher flick or soft core porn. If it was intended to be horror, the filmmaker should have dedicated more time to the effects. It was good that they were practical effects, but minimal and obviously little effort went into them. If it was intended to be soft core, some simulated sex would have been appropriate rather than just entirely too much on screen making out.
The continuity during some scenes (most notably when “Persuasion” has her boy all tied up) is so completely off it took me out of the film. The story concept was interesting, if cliche, the execution was lacking. Sweet mother of mercy, pick up the pace! The first half of the film dragged needlessly without adding to the story set up or character development (of which there was none). The music was good (due to the vocal talent of E.G. Daily, yes, of Rugrats, Powerpuff Girls, etc fame).
I gave this 1 1/2 fru fru drinks. I saw it, I enjoyed listening to E.G. Daily sing that is all.
