31 Days of Horror Challenge: Movie #8
After Joe gets dumped by his girlfriend, his 2 roommates, Eric and Hung, help him move on by dragging him to a Live Action Role Playing (LARP) event. The LARP becomes more interesting than expected when Eric reads from an ancient Enochian grimoire and summons a soul sucking, flesh eating succubus which starts feasting on the other players.
I think this a fantastic twist in the supernatural horror comedy genre. I love the cast, Peter Dinklage, Summer Glau, Steve Zahn, and Jimmi Simpson, just to name a few. The cheesy effects fit right in with the cheesy props used by the LARP group in this.
I loved it. This is on my “buy this to watch again in the future” list.
