After a workout, Laverne just wants to relax. Just as she begins to enjoy her bath, she notices something isn’t quite right.
This 80’s period piece uses a tainted water trope to elicit a sense of insecurity and horror in a setting that most people use to unwind. Okay, that was a wordy and less exciting description. How’s this: Hot jazzercise babe strips down, hops in tub, only to be munched by a mysterious muck. This flick preys on the psyche by making an activity that is usually a safe/relaxing place into something exposed. Yeah, the trope has been used before, but it’s still creepy.
