A scientist experimenting, in his garage, with a new type of radio waves when the power overloads, killing him and causing the dead to rise.
I chose this because I had so much fun watching Wisconsin Project X that I added it to my physical media collection and Christian Ackerman wrote, directed, and acted in both.
At just over an hour long, this micro-budget, indie, horror/comedy is not for folks who prefer more polished films. What you can expect from this movie, should you chose to watch it: low production value, amateur acting, writing, and direction, not great dialog, sound, or editing, and a bazaar mix of special effects, including some creative practical effects, but also the biggest offender – CGI blood splatter. What you will get is a bunch of people having fun making a movie. They even tried for some real drama to flesh the movie out a bit. The instincts are there, the budget isn’t. I can even forgive the voice over narration, because it’s explained at the end in a rather creative way.
Overall, it was a bad movie and I liked it. And, yeah, I found the dvd and ordered it.
