Steve is driving through New York City to Christmas dinner at his daughter’s, with his overbearing wife, when his car breaks down. When he knocks on the door of a repair shop, he is mistaken for Mr. Bear. He is forced to choose between dismembering and disposing of a pair of corpses, or becoming one of them.
This 15 minute short gives the audience a well thought out, well executed story that includes small details which combine to create a fully developed primary character, a good understanding of his relationship with his wife and his personality. It has effective and amusing practical effects and balances horror and comedy nicely. Featuring great dialogue and chemistry among the cast, this is certainly a short that anyone who enjoys dark comedy should see.
