“The Track”
A short film featured at the 2014 Oshkosh Horror Film Festival.
Sadly, I couldn’t find any links for this Australian short film.
It’s the first day of work for a young woman at an old racetrack. As she is shown around by her new boss, they discuss the legends and stories associated with the track. Some legends, she discovers, are real.
There is good, if a little stiff, banter and character interaction in this short. I liked the minimal effects, which shows off the talent of the cast. It’s a nice little ghost story, somewhat predictable, but still enjoyable and worth watching.
