This film follows the daily routine of a couple whose relationship has become loveless and cold, building to their anniversary dinner.
She is a short that is full of triggers and subtle (and not so subtle) abuses. I found the minimal dialogue to be an excellent tool so the audience can focus on the body language and physical cues of he actors which told a story of dispassion, objectification and vengeance. The tension is so thick between the characters throughout, that the audience, put in the role of voyeur, is intended to watch, but the feelings are so raw that you want to look away, but can’t.
It is worth the time to see this intense short film.
