Gordon isn’t the smartest of people. He follows some bad advise to try to impress Wendy, who has finally agreed to a date.
There are not enough good things to say about this movie! Johnathan Spencer is the dim witted, gullible,Gordon, who takes the advice of a creepy janitor on how to impress his dream girl, who works at the laundromat, Wendy. I love that though the characters are over-the-top, they are also average(ish) people with problems that are easy to associate with. I love that the object of Gordon’s affection is loud, tired, and jaded. Everyone has experienced a date that they knew they shouldn’t be on.
Check it out while it’s available on Vimeo. But do yourself a favor and see it on a big screen at a festival, if you can.
