A group of college kids head home for Thanksgiving break and stumble across a demonic turkey intent on slaughtering them all.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

What can I say, if you’ve chosen to view this movie after giving it even the most cursory look, you should know what you’re in for. \u00a0 This raunchy, low-budget, indie flick is a cornucopia of stereotypical horror genre conventions that spills out an original caricature of terrific holiday fun.\u00a0 The actors played up the cliches of their characters to the hilt, mostly succeeding in the delivery of the silly one-liners.\u00a0 Then went beyond and mocked them with off-timed or inappropriate one-liners.<\/p>\n

So, the characters are ridiculous, over the top, yet fun and somehow engaging.\u00a0 Full of toilet-humor (sometimes lame, unfunny, or dated), pretty horrible dialogue, cheesy practical effects (note, you never see the lower half of the Turkey), and hit or miss music, this film does manage to work.<\/p>\n

I gave this 2 1\/2 shots because it is what the filmmakers intended, with a few flaws.
