{"id":576,"date":"2013-09-24T17:02:39","date_gmt":"2013-09-24T22:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/intheaudience.net\/?p=576"},"modified":"2013-09-24T17:05:26","modified_gmt":"2013-09-24T22:05:26","slug":"the-hills-run-red-2009-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/intheaudience.net\/?p=576","title":{"rendered":"The Hills Run Red (2009) &#8211; Film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>&#8220;The Hills Run Red&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"IMDb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0907676\/?ref_=sr_1\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler, a young horror fan, becomes obsessed with a lost film called &#8220;The Hills Run Red&#8221; that disappeared 20 years ago.\u00a0\u00a0 His search leads him to a strip club where he finds the filmmaker&#8217;s daughter, Alexa.\u00a0 She takes Tyler, his girlfriend, Serina, and friend, Lalo,\u00a0 to her family&#8217;s farm, allegedly, filmmaker Concannon&#8217;s last resting place.\u00a0 There, they discover the horrific truth about Concannon&#8217;s dedication to his film.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The opening sequence is quite disturbing and a hell of a standard to set for the rest of the film.\u00a0 The story is interesting, with beautiful cinematography, and there is plenty of gore, for those of us who are fans (though some of it is CGI and that is rather disappointing).\u00a0 The soundtrack is effectively creepy and tension building.
