Christopher Robin grows up and leaves Pooh and friends behind in the 100 Acre Wood to fend for themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Of course, as soon as Winnie the Pooh was released into Public Domain, someone rushed to make a horror version. So much potential. It was filmed beautifully, they clearly had a budget. I just wish they’d spent a bit more focusing on the actual story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I liked the opening animation with the background story. They jumped into Christopher Robin assuming that Pooh and friends were “bad” once they got to the homestead, but even then I was on board right up until Christopher Robin just sat and cried “No, Piglet!” instead of doing anything to *stop* it from murdering his wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>Random Thoughts I had while watching:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*At one point I got so frustrated with the girls unintelligible screaming my brain just filled in “screaming in British” and stopped trying to understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Did Pooh grow like 3 feet taller when he was fighting the long haired rough necks toward the end of the film, just before he bitch slapped the one? It certainly appeared so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Same sequence- he suddenly has the power to control a swarm of bees and make them attack people? And it’s only used once?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with most movies that don’t click for me, I’ll probably give it another chance in the future. Probably just before I watch the sequel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
