Joining the band, Lestat uses and flaunts his vampiric powers,  takes the band to the heights of success.  In doing so, he throws down the gauntlet to all the other vampires in the world.  Unknowingly, he also wakes and seduces with his music, the first, the Queen of all vampire kind.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The movie inspired by Anne Rice&#8217;s Vampire Lestat novels, and the follow up to Interview With the Vampire.  It is a very pretty movie, filled with very pretty people, not the least of which is Stuart Townsend as the brat prince Lestat and Aaliyah as the titular character, Queen Akasha.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only real reason to watch this is to see Stuart Townsend strut around in his cat-like sexy way and the music.
