{"id":2200,"date":"2016-10-15T14:11:28","date_gmt":"2016-10-15T19:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/intheaudience.net\/?p=2200"},"modified":"2016-10-15T20:57:13","modified_gmt":"2016-10-16T01:57:13","slug":"frankenfish-2004-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/intheaudience.net\/?p=2200","title":{"rendered":"Frankenfish (2004) &#8211; Made-For-TV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>&#8220;Frankenfish&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information follow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0384833\/?ref_=nv_sr_1\">this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>31 Days of Horror Challenge: Movie #13<\/p>\n<p>A medical examiner and a biologist are sent to investigate the death of a fisherman in the Louisiana swamp. \u00a0They discover that the swamp monsters attacking the locals are actually genetically engineered Chinese Snake-head fish, owned by a wealthy hunter.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Not bad for a made-for-tv creature feature. \u00a0 The writing and dialogue were preposterous. \u00a0The biologist would suggest a thing, or make a dogmatic statement without any sort of examination or evidence, and it would simply be true. \u00a0Not that I was expecting much else, but some sort of effort at fake science would have been appreciated. \u00a0I loved the voodoo bits, which seemed to be taken every bit as seriously as the &#8220;science.&#8221; \u00a0I even loved when the lady biologist tried to mac on the fisherman&#8217;s daughter. \u00a0The puppets\/props of the croc head and the giant fish were amusing.<\/p>\n<p>It was entertaining, but not great. \u00a0My favorite part was the the ending scene.
