A group of college kids get more than expected when their camping trip starts off with a hit and run accident in this brilliant send up to 80’s slasher flicks.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n

This 12 minute short is a really good example of independent film making from Slasher Studios, Steve Goltz and Kevin Sommerfield.\u00a0 The story is complete and follows logically.\u00a0 The cast and characters have appropriate chemistry and charisma.\u00a0 They are able to generate empathy in the viewer.\u00a0 The dialogue flows really well.\u00a0 The back story comes out naturally in conversation and doesn’t feel forced into the film.\u00a0 The soundtrack is suspenseful and the sound effects aren’t over the top.\u00a0\u00a0 The only complaint I have is that I wanted to see more.<\/p>\n

I was lucky enough to see and purchase a DVD of this short at the 2012 Madison Horror Film Fest and strongly encourage you to check it out for yourself.\u00a0 You’ll\u00a0 never look at a teddy bear the same way again.<\/p>\n
