Rookie police officer Vitalio has been partnered with Officer Joe Singer for 2 weeks.\u00a0 Vitalio has begun to suspect something is not quite right because Joe is pulling women drivers over for no apparent reason, taking them to a warehouse then coming out with a large black duffel bag.\u00a0 Later it is reported that the women have disappeared.\u00a0 Getting no where with his immediate superiors, Vitalio goes to Internal Affairs. <\/p>\n

This no budget indie flick is full of badly executed stereotypes and one dimensional characters who are painfully stupid.\u00a0 It seems that the film maker tried to create a complex story about a serial killer hiding in plain sight, protected by his brethren police officers, but ended up with a convoluted\u00a0 tale of jumbled images, jumping around with minimal explanation.<\/p>\n

There is no chemistry among the cast, who try to do what they can with what they’re given(which is a steaming pile).\u00a0 The dialogue is largely inane.\u00a0 Though there are plenty of scenes of violence (mostly perpetrated by the police on the innocent for no apparent reason or by the crazy people who run the insane asylum).\u00a0 Then there is the VooDoo thing (“I”m not worried about my sister, she’s protected by voodoo” ).\u00a0 The writing, story, plot had a couple issues.\u00a0 These get gold stars – WTF is with repeatedly taking your freaking partner with you and having him wait in the car while you’re committing murder then getting upset when he comes looking for you?\u00a0 And WTF is wrong with that partner for not recognizing those same women as the missing women being reported at your precinct?<\/p>\n

The low budget is clear, especially in the “police station” with it’s office cubical style partitions for walls and large pipes running along said walls.\u00a0\u00a0 I would normally consider this a creative use of space except for the fact that they appear to have run out of paint in one of the “offices” which ended up being distracting.\u00a0 The music was interesting, ranging from metal to techno pop to what sounded like a Muslim call to prayer.<\/p>\n

This film is the dregs and drips at the bottom of the glass.\u00a0 If you feel the need to watch all things zombie, go ahead, it may amuse you.\u00a0 Once was more than enough for me.<\/p>\n
